asked
questions

Q where do you travel to?

A
i mainly cover Rockingham & Mandurah suburbs, but also travel to most areas south of Perth. There are no additional travel costs to southern suburbs :-)

Q do you come to my home on the day?

A
yes, if you live (or your venue) is south of the river.

Q why do I need a trial-run?

A it's important to see how your make-up will look and also react with your skin. lasting between 1-2 hours, you are able to discuss your requirements with me and try out colours to match your wedding colour scheme.

Q how soon before the wedding should i book a trial-run?

A
due to volume of enquiries, it is wise to have a trial as soon as possible; bookings can be taken up to a year ahead.

Q which cosmetics do you use?

A like many professional artists, i prefer to use a selection of cosmetic brands that i have tried and tested for their durability & finish. these include Proof, M.A.C, Clarins, NARS, BeneFit, Bobbi Brown & Napoleon Perdis. if you have sensitive skin or have experienced problems with any of the cosmetics listed above, please let me know.

Q should my make-up be done after my hair is styled?

A
yes, it is best to do your make-up applied last so it still looks fresh :-)

Q how can i secure my wedding date in your diary?

A
you can secure a date in my diary by sending a $100 booking fee. (please note this is non-refundable) most brides prefer to secure their booking at the trial in order to avoid disappointment (especially for the summer months).
sorry, but dates cannot be held open without a payment of the booking fee.

Q when should i pay the final balance?

A the balance is payable anytime prior to your wedding or special occasion by EFT, cash or cheque. sorry, i am unable to process credit card payments.

Q what if i decide to cancel my booking?

A
you must notify me of cancellation in writing AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. please note that the booking fee is non-refundable or transferrable in the event of cancellation.

Q how long does it take to do my make-up on the day?

A it varies but on average it takes about thirty five minutes to do make-up for each person.

Q what if i need to re-touch my make-up during the day?

A your make-up has been applied to last all day, however i can provide blotting sheets and a small pot of lipstick, or you may purchase a lipstick through me. I also supply a free lipgloss to the bride.

Q what if you are ill on my wedding day?

A in this unlikely event, i have a circle of friends who are make-up artists and every step would be taken to find someone to visit you. if this was not possible, you would be given a full refund including your booking fee.

Q do you charge an extra fee on public holidays?

events that fall on public holidays an additional 10% surcharge is made.
