How Moving Makeup started…..
Long ago…. in a land far, far away…..Victoria Edwards decided to train as a Make-up Artist.
At the time make-up artists were just for the rich and famous, so it was particularly difficult to find someone to do professional make-up for your wedding who also travelled to you.
After saving all her pennies as a waitress she managed to get into the London College of Fashion where she studied Photographic Make-up. This covered a large variety of make-up styles which included Bridal, Catwalk, Corrective & Historical techniques. She then went and trained in Special Effects & Horror techniques at Shepperton Film Studios.
Working for very little money, she managed to gain experience by assisting other established make-up artists in London and working in busy makeover studios. After furthering her hairdressing skills at the acclaimed Jingles Hair Academy, she decided to open her own mobile make-up business – Moving MakeUp in 1995.
Word spread and her skills were soon in demand – it wasn’t long before she had worked with hundreds of clients! She also took part in London Fashion Week and worked with many top Photographers & models.
In 2005 she moved to sunny Perth and Moving Makeup & Hair has now become one of the most popular Hair & makeup suppliers in the Rockingham area!
